Andrey Santos stated he is a fan of Manchester United’s Casemiro and is inspired by players like as Rodrigo and Bruno Guimaraes. In a recent interview with AS in Spain, the 19-year-old discussed his career and the players he admires. He returned to Chelsea this month after a loan spell at Nottingham Forest, where he did not see any playing time.
Andrey Santos on Casemiro
Santos came back from Nottingham Forest earlier this month. Fans are hoping he can have a better second half of the season. Some Chelsea fans want the team to get more experienced players to mix with the young squad.
Santos has revealed admires three Brazilian players in football, and one of them is the star player from Newcastle Bruno Guimaraes. Guimaraes from Newcastle, who is 26 years old, is rumored to be linked with Chelsea. According to reports, Chelsea and Liverpool are the teams most interested in signing him. Guimaraes has a release clause of about €115m (£99m), and he’s likely to leave Newcastle in the summer. Fans need to wait and see if Chelsea’s interest in Guimaraes becomes stronger, but there’s no denying that getting him would be a big statement for any European club. The main challenge for Chelsea is that they have already changed their midfield recently by signing Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo in the last few transfer windows.
“My idol has always been Casemiro. Now I follow Rodrigo (Rodri) a lot because he is phenomenal. My idols are Rodri, Casemiro and Bruno Guimaraes. I really like Bruno because of his personality, because of the way he plays. I admire him a lot,” Santos said.

Santos is a promising young player at Stamford Bridge. He joined from Vasco de Gama for €12.5 million in January last year. After a brief return to the Brazilian team, he permanently joined Chelsea in the summer. However, he’s still settling in and is seen as a player to be developed for the future.
