Everton entertained Luton Town at Goodison Park earlier today as they hoped to earn a good result at home in the FA Cup. The Toffees made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 39th minute when Vitaliy Mykolenko scored an unfortunate own goal. Jack Harrison managed to equalise for the home team in the 55th minute. However, the Merseyside club conceded a late goal as Cauley Woodrow scored for Luton in the dying embers of the contest. Everton ended up being knocked out of the FA Cup after losing the match by a 2-1 scoreline.
