Barcelona clashed heads with Las Palmas at the Gran Canaria Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result on their travels in La Liga. The Catalan club made a poor start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the 12th minute when Munir El Haddadi found the back of the net for the home team. Barca went into the half-time interval 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Ferran Torres equalised for Xavi’s team in the 55th minute before Ilkay Gundogan scored the winning goal from the penalty spot in injury-time. The contest ended with Barcelona securing a hard-fought 2-1 win away from home.
