West Ham United entertained Brighton and Hove Albion at the London Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Hammers were solid in the first half and managed to get to the half-time break with a 0-0 scoreline.
David Moyes’ men kept themselves in the contest in the second 45 minutes and secured a hard-fought 0-0 draw in front of their home supporters.

He made a lot of crucial saves at the back and secured a well-deserved clean sheet tonight.
RB: Ben Johnson – 7/10
Johnson performed his defensive duties well and made one good run with the ball.

He put his foot through the ball when he could and would be quite pleased with the clean sheet.

The Italian didn’t hesitate to clear the danger when needed and was solid when defending inside his half.

He didn’t do much wrong at the back but offered very little going forward.

Alvarez anchored the midfield with conviction and made one decent run with the ball from midfield.
CM: Tomas Soucek – 6.5/10
He got stuck in with some solid tackles but failed to register a goal.
RW: Pablo Fornals – 6.5/10
Fornals worked hard defensively but lacked quality in the final third.
CAM: James Ward-Prowse – 7/10
He didn’t shy away from helping out his teammates at the back but struggled to threaten the Brighton goal.
LW: Said Benrahma – 7/10
Benrahma was a positive influence at both ends of the field.
ST: Jarrod Bowen – 6.5/10
Bowen made two good chances in the attacking third of the pitch but never looked like he would score.
