Newcastle United will lock horns with Aston Villa at Villa Park this Tuesday night as they try to pick up a victory on their travels in the Premier League. The Magpies managed to secure a solid 2-0 win away at Fulham recently which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.
Eddie Howe will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and could make one tweak to his first team for this clash. Miguel Almiron will get a chance to impress from the start of this game while Jacob Murphy makes way for him and drops to the bench if he can recover in time from his shoulder injury..
4-3-3 Newcastle United Predicted Lineup To Face Aston Villa
Defence
Martin Dubravka will play in goal for the Magpies after keeping a clean sheet in his last appearance. Sven Botman will resume his defensive partnership with Fabian Schar at the centre of Barca’s defence as they look to keep the opposition at bay throughout the 90 minutes.
Kieran Trippier will fill in as the right-back while Dan Burn hopes to impress on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to get forward and express themselves in the opponent’s half.
Emil Krafth will be available for selection on the bench as he offers cover for the defensive positions.
Midfield
Sean Longstaff, Bruno Guimaraes and Lewis Miley will make up Newcastle’s midfield as they look to dominate the game in the middle of the park. All three of them need to be at their best if Newcastle are to come out on top this week.
Matt Ritchie has to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second half if Howe opts to call upon his services.
Attack
Anthony Gordon will try to prove his worth on the left flank while Miguel Almiron hopes to make a difference as the right-sided wide player if he can pass a late fitness test. Alexander Isak will lead the line for the Tyneside giants in the final third. He has to carry most of the goal-scoring workload for the Tyneside club up top.
Jacob Murphy will be named on the bench.
