Liverpool faced off against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to earn a positive result on their travels in the FA Cup. The Reds made a good start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a 0-0 draw.
Jurgen Klopp‘s men finally got their noses ahead in the 80th minute when Jakub Kiwior scored an unfortunate own goal. Luis Diaz killed the game off in injury-time with a solid finish as Liverpool secured an impressive 2-0 win away from home.

The Brazilian keeper made a few routine saves at the back and secured an impressive clean sheet at the Emirates.
RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold – 8/10
He was solid at the back and made two key chances for his teammates in the final third.
CB: Ibrahima Konate – 7/10
The French talent earned the ball back twice and was a commanding presence inside the Liverpool half.
CB: Jarell Quansah – 7/10
He made two important interceptions at the back and was good on the ball.
LB: Joe Gomez – 7.5/10
Gomez performed his defensive duties well but offered very little going forward.
CM: Harvey Elliott – 6.5/10
He began the game well and worked hard in the middle of the park.
CM: Alexis Mac Allister – 6.5/10
Mac Allister got stuck in with some solid tackles and was accurate with his ball distribution.

He made one good chance in the final third and retained possession well at the centre of the park.

Gakpo caught the eye at times but failed to make a difference in front of the Arsenal goal.

He was a constant menace in the final third. However, his finishing was poor.
LW: Luis Diaz – 8/10
Diaz caused a lot of headaches for his marker and managed to put the contest to bed with a good finish in injury time.
