During the game between Liverpool and Arsenal, Jurgen Klopp was knocked down by Kostas Tsimikas, which has gone viral. Unfortunately, Tsimikas was injured and had to leave the game. He was pushed by Bukayo Saka while attempting to get the ball, and it appeared that he had suffered significant shoulder damage.
Kostas Tsimikas collides with Jurgen Klopp
Kostas Tsimikas was subbed off in the first half of Liverpool’s match against Arsenal. He got hurt when he collided with Jurgen Klopp. This happened in the 33rd minute when Tsimikas and Saka were fighting for the ball on the sideline near Liverpool’s bench. Saka pushed Tsimikas with his shoulder, and Tsimikas ended up colliding with Klopp, who was standing on the sidelines. Klopp fell to the ground because of it.
The videos showed that Tsimikas seemed to bump his shoulder into Klopp’s legs, which made Tsimikas leave the game. Joe Gomez came in for him because Klopp had to make a substitution in the first 45 minutes. Since Andy Robertson is still not available until at least the New Year, Tsimikas getting injured is a big problem for Liverpool because they don’t have any other experienced left-backs. Gomez has played in that position recently when Tsimikas wasn’t playing, and he might have a big role to play in the upcoming games against Burnley on Boxing Day and Newcastle on New Year’s Day.
How Tsimikas didn’t get a yellow card for that tackle on Klopp is a joke🤯🤯pic.twitter.com/JIlaWkQMuB
