Newcastle United entertained Manchester United at St. James’ Park earlier tonight as they focused on collecting maximum points in the Premier League. The Magpies made a decent start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Anthony Gordon finally broke the deadlock with an easy finish in the 55th minute. The Tyneside club hung on to their slender advantage and secured a hard-fought 1-0 win in front of their home fans.

Almiron caused a few problems for the Man United defenders but never looked like he would score.
