Chelsea locked horns with Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier tonight as they looked to grind out a victory on their travels. The Blues made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 19th minute when Scott McTominay got his name on the scoresheet. Cole Palmer equalised for the West London club in the 45th minute as the two teams went into the half-time interval with a 1-1 scoreline.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men conceded their second goal in the 69th minute when McTominay scored again for the home side. The contest finished with Chelsea suffering a lackluster 2-1 loss away from home.
