Liverpool faced off Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park earlier today as they hoped to secure all three points on their travels in the Premier League. The Reds made a good start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
The home team took the lead thanks to Jean-Philippe Mateta’s finish in the 57th minute. However, Jordan Ayew received his second yellow card and was sent off by the referee in the 75th minute. Mohamed Salah equalised for Liverpool just one minute later with a deflected effort. Harvey Elliott ended up scoring the winning goal in injury time with an excellent strike as Jurgen Klopp‘s men earned a last-gasp 2-1 win away from home.
