Liverpool locked horns with Union SG at Lotto Park earlier this evening as they focused on securing a win on their travels in the UEFA Europa League. The Reds made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 32nd minute when Mohamed Amoura found the back of the net. Jarell Quansah equalised for Jurgen Klopp‘s side just seven minutes later with a great finish. However, Cameron Puertas restored the home team’s lead in the 43rd minute as Liverpool went into the half-time interval 2-1 down on the scoreline.
The Merseyside club failed to mount a comeback in the second half and crashed to a lackluster 2-1 loss away from home.
