Everton welcomed Manchester City at Goodison Park earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Toffees made a solid start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 29th minute when Jack Harrison scored with a good finish. The Merseyside club went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Phil Foden equalised for the visitors with a stunning strike in the 53rd minute before Julian Alvarez put Man City ahead from the penalty spot just 11 minutes later. Bernardo Silva ended up scoring another goal late in the game as the Toffees crashed to a lackluster 3-1 loss in front of their home supporters.
