Chelsea faced off against Luton Town at Kenilworth Road earlier this afternoon as they looked to earn all three points on the road in the Premier League. The Blues made a good start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 12th minute via Cole Palmer’s effort. Noni Madueke doubled his team’s advantage in the 37th minute as the West London club went into the half-time break 2-0 upon the scoreline.
Cole Palmer scored a wonderful solo goal in the 70th minute. However, Ross Barkley got a goal back for Luton just ten minutes later before Elijah Adebayo scored again for them in the 87th minute. However, Mauricio Pochettino’s men hung on to their slender advantage and secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory away from home.
