Everton locked horns with Burnley at Turf Moor earlier this evening as they looked to secure a victory on their travels in the Premier League. The Toffees made a decent start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 19th minute when Amadou Onana found the back of the net. Michael Keane doubled Everton’s lead just six minutes later as the Merseyside club went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.
Sean Dyche’s men were solid in the second half and managed to secure an impressive 2-0 victory away from home.

Pickford made two decent saves at the back and earned an important clean sheet this evening.

He didn’t do much wrong at the back and had two bright moments in the opponent’s half.

Godfrey kept things solid inside his half for most of the game and would be quite pleased with the clean sheet.

He performed his defensive duties well and was a good presence on the ball.

McNeil was a positive influence at both ends of the field and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

He had a couple of bright moments in the final third but was a bit inaccurate when interchanging possession in the opponent’s half.
CM: Abdoulaye Doucoure – 6.5/10
Doucoure produced a solid display in the first half and was replaced at half-time.
CM: Amadou Onana – 8/10
Onana caught the eye in both halves and was responsible for scoring the opener in the 19th minute.
LM: James Garner – 7.5/10
He made two decent chances for others around him but failed to register a goal.
ST: Dominic Calvert-Lewin – 6.5/10
Calvert-Lewin worked hard but failed to threaten the opponent’s goal.
