Liverpool will face off against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon as they look to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Reds managed to earn an impressive 2-0 win away at Sheffield United recently which should keep them in high spirits ahead of this game.
Jurgen Klopp will set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation and could be inclined to make some changes to his first XI for this game. Curtis Jones, Kostas Tsimikas and Darwin Nunez are all expected to play from the start of this contest.
4-3-3 Liverpool Predicted Lineup To Face Crystal Palace
Defence
Caoimhin Kelleher will function in between the sticks for the Reds after securing a clean sheet in his last league outing. Virgil Van Dijk will continue to play alongside Ibrahima Konate at the centre of Liverpool’s defence as they hope to keep things solid at the back during the game.
Trent Alexander-Arnold will fill in as the right-back while Kostas Tsimikas hopes to catch the eye on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them would be eager to make a difference for the Reds out in the wide areas.
Joe Gomez will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Curtis Jones, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai will make up Liverpool’s midfield as they try to establish their dominance over the opposition at the centre of the park. All three of them need to control the flow of the game if the Reds are to come out on top this weekend.
Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch will have to be content with a spot on the bench as they await their chance to make an impact in the second half if required.
Attack
Luis Diaz will hope to impress as the left-sided winger while Mohamed Salah looks to make a difference on the right flank. The Egypt international failed to score against Sheffield and would be eager to put in a productive display versus the Eagles this Saturday afternoon.
Darwin Nunez could get the nod to lead the line for the Merseyside club in the final third while Cody Gakpo makes way for him and drops to the bench.
