Chelsea welcomed Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge earlier tonight as they looked to grab maximum points at home in the Premier League. The Blues made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 13th minute thanks to Mykhailo Mudryk’s goal. However, the visitors equalised in the first half injury-time via Michael Olise’s effort. Both sides went into the half-time interval with a 1-1 scoreline.
Noni Madueke put Chelsea ahead in the 89th minute from the penalty spot as Mauricio Pochettino’s men managed to secure a narrow 2-1 win in front of their home fans.

Badiashile kept things tidy inside his half for most of the game and hardly gave away the ball.

Colwill made two crucial clearances at the back but offered very little in the final third.

He came back to defend when he could and caused a few problems in the opponent’s half.
CM: Moises Caicedo – 7/10
Caicedo offered decent protection for his teammates at the back and was bright on the ball.
RW: Ian Maatsen – 6/10
He did his fair share of defending but didn’t do much in the final third.
CAM: Christopher Nkunku – 6/10
Nkunku made one good chance up top but never looked like he would score.
LW: Mykhailo Mudryk – 7.5/10
Mudryk was a real menace in the Palace half and managed to score the opening goal in the 13th minute.

He had a couple of lively moments in the final third but failed to register a goal tonight.
