Ederson And Gvardiol Get 7 | Manchester City Players Rated In Poor Loss Vs Aston Villa

Manchester City faced off against Aston Villa at Villa Park earlier tonight as they looked to grab all three points on their travels. The Mancunian club made a good start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.

Pep Guardiola‘s men conceded a soft goal in the 74th minute when Leon Bailey scored with a deflected attempt. Man City failed to mount a comeback and crashed to a poor 1-0 loss away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Manchester City player performed during the clash against the Villans.

GK: Ederson – 7/10

The Brazilian keeper made a lot of crucial saves at the back but couldn’t do much about Bailey’s deflected effort.

CB: Kyle Walker – 6/10

He made some important clearances inside his half but was far from convincing tonight.

CB: Ruben Dias – 7/10

Dias didn’t hesitate to put his foot through the ball when needed and was accurate with his passing.

CB: Josko Gvardiol – 7/10

He gave a good account of himself when defending inside his half.
