Newcastle United faced off against Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today as they hoped to grind out a good result on their travels in the Premier League. The Magpies made a slow start to the contest and conceded the opening goal in the 26th minute when Destiny Udogie found the back of the net. Richarlison made it 2-0 to Tottenham just 12 minutes later as Eddie Howe’s players went into the half-time interval 2-0 down on the scoreline.
Richarlison scored again for the home team in the 60th minute before Heung-min Son put the icing on the cake as he got his name on the scoresheet in the 85th minute. Joelinton got a goal back for Newcastle in injury time as they crashed to a poor 4-1 defeat away from home.
