Aston Villa locked horns with Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier tonight as they looked to earn a good result on their travels in the Premier League. The Villans made a good start to the game and got themselves ahead in the 21st minute when John McGinn scored from an indirect freekick. Leander Dendoncker doubled his team’s advantage just five minutes later when he scored from close range. Unai Emery’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 to the good.
The Villans conceded their first goal in the 59th minute when Alejandro Garnacho scored with a tidy finish. Garnacho went on to equalise for Man United just 12 minutes later. Things went from bad to worse for the West Midlands club as Rasmus Hojlund put the home team ahead in the 82nd minute.
