Tottenham Hotspur clashed heads with Brighton and Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. Spurs made a poor start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 11th minute when Jack Hinshelwood found the back of the net. Joao Pedro doubled Brighton’s advantage from the penalty spot just 12 minutes later as Angelos Postecoglu’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.
Pervis Estupinan killed the game off when he scored in the 63rd minute. Joao Pedro added another goal via the penalty spot just 12 minutes later. Tottenham scored two late goals thanks to Alejo Veliz and Ben Davies respectively. However, Spurs ended up crashing to a disappointing 4-2 loss away from home.
