Alexander-Arnold Gets 8.5, Salah With 7.5 | Liverpool Players Rated In Entertaining Win Vs Fulham

Liverpool welcomed Fulham at Anfield earlier today as they looked to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Reds made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 20th minute when Bernd Leno scored an unfortunate own goal as he failed to stop Trent Alexander-Arnold’s excellent free-kick. However, Harry Wilson equalised for the visitors just four minutes later. Alexis Mac Allister scored an excellent goal from long range in the 38th minute which was cancelled out by Kenny Tete’s effort in the first half injury-time. Both sides went into the half-time break with a 2-2 scoreline.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid gave Fulham a shock lead in the 80th minute. However, Jurgen Klopp‘s men rallied back thanks to a great goal from Wataru Endo just seven minutes later. Trent Alexander-Arnold netted a dramatic late winner in the 88th minute as Liverpool earned an entertaining 4-3 win at Anfield.

GK: Caoimhin Kelleher – 5/10

He looked shaky at the back and conceded three poor goals today.

RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold – 8.5/10

Alexander-Arnold’s brilliant free-kick led to Liverpool’s opener. He ended up scoring a dramatic late winner as well.

CB: Joel Matip – 6.5/10

He cleared the danger when needed and was accurate with his passing.

CB: Virgil Van Dijk – 7/10

The Dutch talent earned the ball back a few times and was a strong presence in the air.

LB: Kostas Tsimikas – 7.5/10

He did his fair share of defending and was a constant threat on the left flank. Tsimikas has got an assist to show for his efforts.

CM: Dominik Szoboszlai – 6.5/10

Szoboszlai worked his socks off as usual but lacked quality in the final third.

CM: Alexis Mac Allister – 7/10

He anchored the midfield well and scored a great goal from long-range in the first half.

CM: Ryan Gravenberch – 6/10

The Dutch talent linked up play well with others around him but failed to make a difference in the opponent’s half.

RW: Mohamed Salah – 7.5/10

The Egypt international managed to orchestrate a handful of meaningful chances for his teammates and ended the game with an assist to his name.

ST: Darwin Nunez – 7/10

Nunez got himself into some dangerous areas in the final third but failed to take any of his chances.

LW: Luis Diaz – 7.5/10

Diaz caused all sorts of problems for the opposition defenders but there was no goal for him today.

Substitutes:

CAM: Cody Gakpo – 6.5/10

He linked up play well with others around him in the Fulham half.

RB: Joe Gomez – 6/10

Gomez was solid at the back.

CB: Ibrahima Konate – 6/10

He added some bite and steel to Liverpool’s defence.
