Arsenal welcomed Burnley at the Emirates Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure all three points in front of their home fans. The Gunners made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the first half injury-time when Leandro Trossard found the back of the net. The North London club managed to get to the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Josh Brownhill equalised for the visitors in the 54th minute. However, William Saliba restored Arsenal’s lead just three minutes later.
Oleksandr Zinchenko killed the game off in the 74th minute. Fabio Vieira was sent off by the referee late in the game but Mikel Arteta’s men hung on to their two-goal advantage and secured an impressive 3-1 victory at home.
