Real Madrid will welcome Napoli at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium this Wednesday night as they focus on securing maximum points in the UEFA Champions League. Los Blancos managed to earn a 3-0 win away at Cadiz recently which should give them some confidence ahead of this game.
Carlo Ancelotti will set his team up in a 4-2-2-2 formation and could name a strong first team for this clash against Napoli. The Real Madrid boss is unlikely to make any changes to his side for this game.
4-2-2-2 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Napoli
Defence
Andriy Lunin will operate in goal for Los Blancos after securing a clean sheet in his last appearance. Nacho will operate alongside Antonio Rudiger at the centre of Real Madrid’s backline as they try to keep the opposition attackers at bay during the game.
Dani Carvajal will fill in as the right-back while Ferland Mendy hopes to catch the eye on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and join in on the attack at every chance they get.
Fran Garcia and David Alaba will be named on the bench as they provide cover for the defensive positions.
Midfield
Toni Kroos and Federico Valverde will fill in as the holding midfielders as they try to dictate the tempo of the game at the centre of the park. Both Jude Bellingham and Luka Modric will operate as the free-flowing, attacking midfielders as they look to carry some of the creative workload in the Napoli half.
Dani Ceballos will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second half if required.
Attack
Joselu and Rodrygo will once again lead the line for the Madrid outfit in the attacking end of the field. Rodrygo managed to score a brace versus Cadiz which would give him a confidence boost ahead of this midweek clash at the Bernabeu.
Brahim Diaz will be available for selection on the bench as he waits for his opportunity to influence the game in the final quarter if Real Madrid are in need of a goal by then.
