Paqueta Gets 8, Soucek With 7.5 | West Ham United Players Rated In Narrow Win Vs Burnley

West Ham United clashed heads with Burnley at Turf Moor earlier today as they looked to secure all three points on the road in the Premier League. The Hammers made a solid start to the game and were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.

Jay Rodriguez opened the goal-scoring for the home side in the 49th minute from the penalty spot. Dara O’Shea scored an unfortunate own goal in the 86th minute before Tomas Soucek netted a dramatic winner in injury-time. The contest finished with West Ham earning a narrow 2-1 win away from home.

He came back to defend when needed and made two promising runs with the ball.

CM: Edson Alvarez – 6.5/10

Alvarez offered decent protection for his teammates at the back and had a couple of lively moments in the Burnley half.

He made two key chances in the final third and won a couple of aerial duels as well.

RW: Mohammed Kudus – 7.5/10

Kudus caused a few headaches for the opposition and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
