Chelsea entertained Manchester City at Stamford Bridge earlier tonight as they looked to secure a win at home in the Premier League. The Blues made a sloppy start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the 25th minute when Erling Haaland scored his penalty. Thiago Silva equalised for the West London club just four minutes before Raheem Sterling put the home team 2-1 up in the 37th minute. Manuel Akanji equalised for Man City in the first half injury-time as the two teams went into the half-time interval with a 2-2 scoreline.
Haaland put Man City 3-2 up in the 47th minute which was cancelled out by Nicolas Jackson’s goal in the 67th minute. Rodri found the back of the net for the Mancunian club in the 86th minute before Cole Palmer scored a dramatic late equaliser from the penalty spot in injury time. The Premier League clash finished with Mauricio Pochettino’s men securing a hard-fought 4-4 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Palmer showed nerves of steel to score a dramatic late equaliser from the penalty spot against his old club.

He was always willing to shoot and managed to secure an assist during the game.

Sterling caused all sorts of problems for the Man City defenders and scored Chelsea’s second goal in the 37th minute.
