Longstaff And Hall To Start | 4-3-3 Newcastle United Predicted Lineup Vs Paris Saint-Germain

Newcastle United will face off against Paris Saint-Germain at Parc des Princes this Tuesday night as they try to secure a victory on their travels in the UEFA Champions League. The Magpies managed to secure a dominant 4-1 win over Chelsea recently which should give them a lot of confidence ahead of this clash.

Eddie Howe will set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation and could be inclined to make a couple of tweaks to his first XI for this game. Both Sean Longstaff and Lewis Hall will get a chance to impress from the start of this contest in Paris.

Defence

Nick Pope will feature in between the sticks for the Magpies after he shipped in one goal in his last appearance. Jamaal Lascelles will play alongside Fabian Schar at the centre of Newcastle’s backline as they look to keep things tidy at the back during the 90 minutes.

Lewis Hall will hope to catch the eye as the left-back while Kieran Trippier looks to make a difference on the other flank as the right-back. Howe will ask both of them to perform their defensive duties well if Newcastle are to stand a chance of securing a clean sheet on the road this week.

Paul Dummett will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Joelinton, Bruno Guimaraes and Sean Longstaff will make up Howe’s midfield as they focus on making life tough for the opposition at the centre of the park. All three of them need to move the ball well if the Magpies are to create enough chances to win this contest.

Matt Ritchie will be available for selection on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the second half if required.

Attack

Anthony Gordon will try to impress as the left-winger while Miguel Almiron hopes to weave his magic from the right flank. Alexander Isak will lead the line for the Tyneside club on the offensive end of the field after getting his name on the scoresheet versus Chelsea recently.

Amadou Diallo will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if Howe decides to call upon his services.
