Tottenham Hotspur welcomed Chelsea at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a good start to the contest and got their noses ahead in the sixth minute courtesy of Dejan Kulusevski’s deflected effort. However, Cristian Romero was sent off for a reckless challenge in the 33rd minute. Two minutes later, Cole Palmer equalised for the visitors from the penalty spot as the two London sides went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.
