Manchester City locked horns with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge earlier this evening as they looked to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Mancunian side made a decent start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 25th minute thanks to Erling Haaland’s penalty. Thiago Silva equalised for the home team just four minutes later. Raheem Sterling put Chelsea 2-1 up in the 37th minute before Manuel Akanji equalised for the visitors in the first half injury-time. Both sides went into the half-time break with a 2-2 scoreline.
Haaland put Man City 3-2 up in the 47th minute but Nicolas Jackson equalised for the home team in the 67th minute. Rodri scored for the Mancunian club in the 86th minute which was cancelled out by Cole Palmer’s successful penalty in injury-time. The Premier League contest ended with Pep Guardiola‘s men being held to an entertaining 4-4 draw at Stamford Bridge.

The Brazilian keeper made a few crucial saves at the back but conceded four goals during the game.

He struggled to cope with Sterling’s threat but was good on the ball.

Dias made a handful of errors when defending inside his half but was accurate with his passing.

He looked shaky on the defensive end of the field.

He anchored the midfield well and was a positive influence in the final third. Rodri managed to score in the 87th minute.
CM: Manuel Akanji – 7.5/10
Akanji did his fair share of defending and managed to score Man City’s second goal in the dying embers of the first half.
RW: Phil Foden – 8/10
He was a constant menace in the Chelsea half but there was no goal for him.
CAM: Julian Alvarez – 6.5/10
Alvarez caused a few headaches for the opposition defenders but failed to register a goal.
CAM: Bernardo Silva – 7.5/10
He managed to create a couple of inviting chances up top and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
LW: Jeremy Doku – 7/10
Doku made a few driving runs with the ball but lacked quality in front of the opposition goal.

He was a real handful inside the Chelsea penalty box and scored two goals this evening.
