Newcastle United welcomed Chelsea at St. James’ Park earlier today as they hoped to earn a victory at home in the Premier League. The Magpies made a decent start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 13th minute when Alexander Isak found the back of the net. However, Raheem Sterling equalised for the visitors just ten minutes later with an excellent free-kick. Eddie Howe’s men went into the half-time interval with a 1-1 scoreline.
Jamaal Lascelles gave Newcastle the lead in the 60th minute with a good header. Joelinton made it 3-1 to the Magpies just a minute later. Anthony Gordon ended up putting the icing on the cake for Eddie Howe’s side in the 83rd minute. The contest finished with the Tyneside giants securing an impressive 4-1 win in front of their home fans.

The Brazilian talent got stuck in with some crunching tackles and made some promising runs with the ball from midfield.

He was not shy of making a tackle and managed to get his name on the scoresheet in the 61st minute.

Almiron worked his socks off in the opponent’s half and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

Isak made a good start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 13th minute.
LW: Anthony Gordon – 8.5/10
Gordon caused all sorts of problems for the Chelsea defenders and managed to score a fine goal late in the game.
