Liverpool entertained LASK Linz at Anfield earlier tonight as they looked to secure maximum points at home in the UEFA Europa League. The Reds made a good start to the contest and scored the opening goal in the 12th minute via Luis Diaz’s excellent header. Cody Gakpo doubled his team’s advantage just three minutes later as Jurgen Klopp‘s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.
Mohamed Salah killed the game off from the penalty spot in the 51st minute before Gakpo scored again in the dying embers of the clash. The match ended with Liverpool securing an impressive 4-0 win in front of their home fans.
