Everton Are Keeping Tabs On This Gifted Starlet: One For The Future?

In a recent report, Inter Live mentioned that Everton are keeping tabs on Borussia Monchengladbach starlet Winsley Boteli. It has been stated that the Toffees are monitoring the progress of the Swiss whizkid ahead of a potential move for him in the future.

Boteli’s Impressive Rise In German Football

The 17-year-old has come through the youth ranks of the German club after joining from Servette last year. He has caught the eye with his performances as the focal point of Borussia Monchengladbach Under-19 team’s attack.

Boteli deserves a ton of credit for scoring 13 goals and grabbing three assists in 16 matches for the German club’s U-19 side so far across multiple competitions.

The talented teenager is under contract at Borussia Monchengladbach until the summer of 2025. Hence, it makes sense for Everton to try and get a deal done for him on the cheap at the end of this campaign.

Everton Are Keeping Tabs On Boteli: Is He A Prospect For The Future?

Boteli can be a good finisher in front of the opponent’s goal when he is playing with confidence on the pitch. He has got the eye to set up a few clear-cut chances for his teammates in the final third.

The Swiss youngster can even make a few driving runs with the ball up top. However, he is still quite raw and would need time to prove his worth at the highest level.

Boteli would no doubt be an excellent acquisition for Everton in the long run. He has the potential to become a future star in English football. Therefore, Sean Dyche should focus on going all out to bring him to Goodison Park next summer.

At 17, there is no denying that Boteli is a prospect to watch out for in the coming years. Thus, the Toffees should look to sign him on a cut-price deal at the end of this season.
