West Ham United entertained Arsenal at the London Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win in the EFL Cup. The Hammers made a great start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 16th minute when Ben White scored an unfortunate own goal. David Moyes’ men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Mohammed Kudus doubled his team’s advantage in the 50th minute before Jarrod Bowen killed the game off at the hour mark. Martin Odegaard scored a late consolation goal for the visitors as the contest finished with West Ham securing an impressive 3-1 win in the London derby.
