West Ham United will clash heads with Burley at Turf Moor this Saturday as they try to collect maximum points on the road in the Premier League. The Hammers managed to earn a hard-fought 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest before the international break which will keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.
The East London club will set themselves up in a 4-2-3-1 formation with Jarrod Bowen expected to lead the charge for the Tyneside club up top. David Moyes will probably keep changes to a minimum for this game.
4-2-3-1 West Ham United Predicted Lineup To Face Burnley
Defence
Alphonso Areola will operate in between the sticks for the Hammers after shipping in two goals in his last appearance. Kurt Zouma will function alongside Nayef Aguerd at the centre of Moyes’ backline as they try to keep things tidy at the back throughout the game.
Vladimir Coufal will be a guaranteed starter as the right-back while Emerson Palmieri hopes to catch the eye on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them would be eager to make a difference for the West Ham out on the flanks.
Angelo Ogbonna will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
James Ward-Prowse and Edson Alvarez will operate as the holding midfielders as they focus on winning the 50-50 duels in the middle of the park. The gifted trio of Lucas Paqueta, Tomas Soucek and Mohammed Kudus will play just ahead of them as part of West Ham’s attack. All three of them need to be at their best if West Ham want to win this league clash away from home.
Pablo Fornals and Said Benrahama will have to be content with a spot on the bench as they await their chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if Moyes opts to call upon their services.
Attack
Jarrod Bowen is a slight concern ahead of the game but should spearhead the London club’s attack in the final third. He managed to get his name on the scoresheet versus Nottingham which will give him some confidence ahead of this game.
Michail Antonio is unlikely to recover in time for this clash.
