Liverpool welcomed Union SG at Anfield earlier tonight as they looked to secure all three points at home in the UEFA Europa League. The Reds made a good start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 44th minute when Ryan Gravenberch tapped the ball in from close range. Jurgen Klopp‘s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Diogo Jota ended up killing the game off in injury time when he scored with a tidy finish. The contest ended with the Merseyside giants earning a solid 2-0 win in front of their home fans.
