West Ham United entertained Newcastle United at the London Stadium earlier today as they looked to earn a victory at home in the Premier League. The Hammers made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the eighth minute when Tomas Soucek got his name on the scoresheet. West Ham sat on their narrow lead well and went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Alexander Isak scored a quick-fire brace in the second half to put the visitors ahead in the game. However, West Ham found a late leveler as Mohammed Kudus found the back of the net in the 89th minute. The contest finished 2-2 with David Moyes’ men earning a point from this home game.

He had a few bright moments in the game and managed to create one good chance during the game.

Alvarez offered decent protection for his teammates at the back and made one positive run with the ball.
RW: Jarrod Bowen – 6.5/10
He struggled to cause problems for the opposition and was a bit wasteful with his passing.
CAM: Tomas Soucek – 7/10
Soucek gave West Ham the all-important lead in the eight-minute. He also made one crucial interception at the back.
LW: Lucas Paqueta – 7/10
He came back to defend when needed. However, Paqueta failed to threaten the Newcastle goal.

Antonio worked his socks off but never looked like he would score.
