Saka Gets 8, Rice With 7.5 | Arsenal Players Rated In Hard-Fought Draw Vs Chelsea

Arsenal faced off against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge earlier this evening as they looked to secure a win in the London derby. The Gunners made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 15th minute when Cole Palmer scored from the penalty spot. Mikel Arteta‘s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Mykhailo Mudryk doubled the home team’s advantage in the 48th minute. However, Declan Rice got a goal back for Arsenal in the 77th minute before Leandro Trossard equalised for them just seven minutes later. The contest ended with the Gunners securing a hard-fought 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.

He made a few important saves at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet in both halves.

RB: Ben White – 6.5/10

White earned the ball back once and made two key chances in the final third.

CB: William Saliba – 6/10

He did his fair share of defending but won’t be happy about conceding two goals this evening.

CB: Gabriel – 7/10

The Brazilian defender gave a good account of himself when defending inside his half. However, he still ended up conceding twice.

LB: Oleksandr Zinchenko – 5.5/10

He was mostly ineffective in the first half and substituted at half-time.

CM: Martin Odegaard – 6/10

Odegaard made two decent chances in the final third but there was no goal for him.

CM: Jorginho – 6.5/10

He got stuck in with some solid tackles and was a good presence on the ball.

CM: Declan Rice – 7.5/10

Rice gave Arsenal a lifeline by scoring in the 77th minute.

RW: Bukayo Saka – 8/10

The England international was a constant menace on the right-wing and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

ST: Gabriel Jesus – 6.5/10

The Brazilian attacker had a few bright moments in the game but failed to register a goal.

LW: Gabriel Martinelli – 6.5/10

Martinelli used his pace well at times and made two inviting chances for his teammates.

He did his best to keep things tidy inside his half.

Nketiah had some promising moments in the game but failed to score.
