Arsenal will face off against Sevilla at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium this Tuesday night as they look to earn a positive result on the road in the UEFA Champions League. The Gunners were held to a 2-2 draw away at Chelsea recently. Hence, they would be keen on returning to winning ways in midweek.
Mikel Arteta will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make one change to his first XI for this game. Thomas Partey will get a chance to play from the start of this clash in Andalusia.
4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup To Face Sevilla
Defence
David Raya will probably keep his spot in goal for the Gunners after shipping in a couple of goals in his last outing. William Saliba will once again function alongside Gabriel at the centre of Arsenal’s defence as they look to keep the home team quiet during the 90 minutes.
Ben White will fill in as the right-back while Oleksandr Zinchenko looks to give a good account of himself as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to push forward and join in on the attack at every chance they get.
Takehiro Tomiyasu will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he offers cover for the defensive positions.
Midfield
Thomas Partey, Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard will make up Arteta’s midfield as they try to get a stranglehold in the game at the centre of the park and create enough chances for the Gunners to win this European contest.
Jorginho will drop to the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Gabriel Martinelli will get a chance to impress as the left-sided wide player while Bukayo Saka hopes to make a difference for Arsenal from the right.
Gabriel Jesus will lead the charge for the North London club on the attacking third of the pitch. He failed to register a goal in the London derby and would be eager to impress for the Gunners in midweek.
Eddie Nketiah will have to be content with a place on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if needed.
