Arsenal will welcome Sheffield United at the Emirates Stadium this Saturday as they look to grab all three points at home in the Premier League. The Gunners managed to earn a 2-1 win over Sevilla in midweek which will keep them in high spirits ahead of this game.
Mikel Arteta will once again go with the 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first XI for this game. Eddie Nketiah will lead the line for the Gunners on the offensive end of the field.
4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup To Face Sheffield United
Defence
David Raya will operate in goal for the North London giants after shipping in one goal versus Sevilla earlier this week. Gabriel will play alongside William Saliba at the centre of Arteta’s defence as they focus on keeping the Blades at bay during the game.
Ben White will get a chance to impress as the right-back while Oleksandr Zinchenko hopes to catch the eye on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will get the opportunity to get forward and offer adequate support to the front players.
Takehiro Tomiyasu will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Kai Havertz, Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard will make up Arsenal’s midfield. All three of them will try to establish their superiority over the opposition in the middle of the park.
Jorginho will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if Arteta opts to call upon his services.
Attack
Gabriel Martinelli will get a chance to catch the eye as the left-sided wide player. Bukayo Saka will get the nod to make a difference on the right flank.
Eddie Nketiah will spearhead Arsenal’s attack on the attacking end of the pitch. He needs to figure out a way to be a threat in front of the opponent’s goal as Gabriel Jesus is unlikely to recover in time for this clash.
Leandro Trossard and Reiss Nelson will have to be content with a place on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the latter stages if the Gunners are in need of a goal by then.
