Barcelona entertained Shakhtar Donetsk at the Nou Camp earlier this evening as they looked to secure a win on the road in the UEFA Champions League. The Catalan outfit made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 28th minute when Ferran Torres found the back of the net. Fermin Lopez doubled Barca’s advantage just eight minutes later as Xavi’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.
The visitors got a goal back courtesy of Heorhiy Sudakov’s effort in the 62nd minute. The contest finished with the Catalan club earning a 2-1 win in front of their home fans.
