West Ham United clashed heads with Olympiacos at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to earn a good result on the road in the UEFA Europa League. The Hammers made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 33rd minute when Kostas Fortounis found the back of the net. Angelo Ogbonna scored an unfortunate own goal in the first half injury-time as West Ham trailed 2-0 at the half-time break.
Lucas Paqueta scored a late goal for David Moyes’ men. However, the East London club ended up crashing to a narrow 2-1 loss on their travels.

He caught the eye at times but failed to register a goal this evening.

Benrahma caused some problems for the opposition defenders but never looked like he would score.

He struggled to get into the rhythm of the game and was replaced in the 56th minute.

Ings had a few strikes at goal but there was no goal for him.
