Tottenham Hotspur will clash heads with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this Friday night as they look to secure a good result in the London derby. Spurs managed to earn a 2-0 win over Fulham recently which will give them a lot of confidence ahead of this game.
Angelos Postecoglu will opt for a 4-3-3 formation and could make one change to his first XI for this game. Yves Bissouma is expected to play from the start while Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg makes way for him and drops to the bench.
4-3-3 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup To Face Crystal Palace
Defence
Guglielmo Vicario will function in goal for the North London club after securing a clean sheet in his last league outing. Micky van de Ven will play alongside Cristian Romero at the centre of Tottenham’s backline as they try to keep things solid at the back during the game.
Pedro Porro will be a nailed-on starter at right-back while Destiny Udogie, who is a slight concern for this game, fills in as the left-back. Postecoglu will give both of them the license to get forward and express themselves in the opposition half.
Eric Dier will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
James Maddison, Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr will try to give a good account of themselves at the centre of the park. All three of them have to move the ball well if Tottenham are to create enough chances to win this derby.
Oliver Skipp will have to be content with a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the second half if needed.
Attack
Richarlison will get a chance to shine on the left flank while Dejan Kulusevski hopes to weave his magic from the right wing.
Heung-min Son will spearhead Postecoglu’s attack up top. He would once again most of the goal-scoring workload for Spurs in the final third.
Brennan Johnson and Alejo Veliz will be available for selection on the bench and might come on in the final stages of the contest if Tottenham are in need of a goal by then.
