Barcelona will entertain Real Madrid at the Nou Camp this Saturday evening as they look to secure a good result in the Clasico. The Catalan club managed to secure a 2-1 win over Shakhtar Donetsk which will give them some momentum ahead of this game.
Xavi will set his players up in a 4-3-3 formation once again and is expected to make one tweak to his first XI for this game. Alejandro Balde will play from the start of this contest while Marcos Alonso makes way for him and drops to the bench.
4-3-3 Barcelona Predicted Lineup To Face Real Madrid
Defence
Marc-Andre ter Stegen will feature in between the sticks for Barcelona after conceding one goal in his last outing. Ronald Araujo will play alongside Inigo Martinez at the centre of the Barca backline as they try to keep the Real Madrid attackers frustrated during the game.
Joao Cancelo will be a nailed-on starter at right-back while Alejandro Balde hopes to catch the eye on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them would be eager to make a difference for the Catalan club out on the flanks.
Marcos Alonso will provide cover for the defensive positions on Xavi’s bench.
Midfield
Xavi could opt for a midfield three of Fermin Lopez, Oriol Romeu and Ilkay Gundogan as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles in the middle of the park. All three of them need to retain the ball well if Barca want to secure maximum points at the Nou Camp this weekend.
Gavi will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if Xavi decides to call upon his services.
Attack
Joao Felix will try to catch the eye on the left flank while Lamine Yamal looks to prove his worth as the right-sided wide player.
Ferran Torres will lead the line for Barca on the offensive end of the field. He managed to get his name on the scoresheet against Shakhtar Donetsk recently which will give him a confidence boost ahead of this Clasico.
Marc Guiu will make up the numbers on the bench.
