West Ham United will welcome Everton at the London Stadium this Sunday as they hope to earn maximum points at home in the Premier League. The Hammers suffered a 4-1 loss away at Aston Villa in their last league game, so they would be eager to right the wrongs this weekend.
David Moyes will opt for a 4-2-3-1 formation once again and could name a strong team for this game. Edson Alvarez and Lucas Paqueta are both expected to play from the start of this clash in the English capital.
4-2-3-1 West Ham United Predicted Lineup To Face Everton
Defence
Alphonso Areola will feature in between the sticks for West Ham as he looks to secure a clean sheet at the London Stadium. Kurt Zouma will play alongside Nayef Aguerd at the centre of Moyes’ defence as they hope to keep the opposition attackers frustrated throughout the 90 minutes.
Vladimir Coufal will fill in as the right-back if he can recover in time for this game. Thilo Kehrer will get a chance to impress on the other side as the left-back. Moyes will ask both of them to keep things solid at the back.
Ben Johnson and Aaron Cresswell will offer cover for the full-back positions on the bench.
Midfield
James Ward-Prowse and Edson Alvarez will operate as the holding midfielders as they try to establish their dominance over the opposition at the centre of the park.
The talented trio of Lucas Paqueta, Tomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen will function just ahead of them as part of West Ham’s attack. All three of them need to combine with each other well if they want to create enough chances for the Hammers to come out on top this weekend.
Pablo Fornals and Said Benrahma will have to settle for a spot on the bench as they look to make an impact in the final quarter of the match if needed.
Attack
Michail Antonio will lead the charge for the Hammers in the final third. He was rested on the bench in midweek and would be fresh for this clash at the London Stadium.
Danny Ings will be available for selection on Moyes’ bench and might come on in the latter stages if required.
