4-2-3-1 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup To Face Sheffield United
Defence
Guglielmo Vicario will operate in between the sticks for the North London club after shipping in a couple of goals in his last league outing. Micky van de Ven will resume his partnership with Cristian Romero at the heart of Postecoglu’s defence as they focus on keeping the Sheffield attackers quiet throughout the game.
Pedro Porro will continue to operate as the right-back while Destiny Udogie looks to give a good account of himself as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and express themselves in the opposition half.
Ben Davies will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr will anchor the midfield for Spurs as they try to make life difficult for the opposition at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Manor Solomon, James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski will play just ahead of them as part of Tottenham’s attack. Maddison was enjoying a rich vein of form in the Premier League before the international break and would look to do a make a difference for Spurs this weekend.
Attack
Heung-min Son will spearhead Postecoglu’s attack on the attacking end of the field. The South Korea international scored a hattrick in his last league appearance, so his confidence will be sky high ahead of this game.
Richarlison will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to influence the game in the latter stages if Tottenham are in need of a goal by then.
