West Ham United welcomed Backa Topola at the London Stadium earlier tonight as they focused on collecting all three points in the UEFA Europa League. The Hammers made a strong start to the contest but were held to a 0-0 draw at the half-time break.
Petar Stanic scored early in the second half to give the visitors a shock lead. However, West Ham equalised in the 66th minute when Nemanja Petrovic scored an unfortunate own goal. Mohammed Kudus completed the turnaround for the Hammers just four minutes later before Tomas Soucek killed the game off in the 82nd minute. The match ended with David Moyes’ men securing an impressive 3-1 win at home.
