Everton faced off against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to earn a result on the road. The Toffees made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the sixth minute when Abdoulaye Doucoure got his name on the scoresheet. Mathias Jensen equalised for the home team in the 28th minute as the two clubs went into the half-time interval with a 1-1 scoreline.
James Tarkowski gave Everton the lead in the 67th minute before Dominic Calvert-Lewin put the match to bed just four minutes later. The contest ended with Everton securing an impressive 3-1 victory on their travels.

The English keeper had to make just one save in the game and did enough to restrict the opposition to just one goal.

He kept things solid when defending inside his half but lacked quality going forward.

Tarkowski was a good presence on the ball and managed to clear the danger when required. He ended the game with a goal and an assist to his name.

He did his fair share of defending and won a couple of aerial duels as well.

He performed his defensive duties well and made two decent runs with the ball.
RM: James Garner – 8/10
Garner was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
CM: Amadou Onana – 7.5/10
He got stuck in with a handful of solid challenges to make life difficult for the opposition in the middle of the park.
CM: Idrissa Gueye – 7/10
Gueye orchestrated a few decent plays for others around him in the opponent’s half
LW: Dwight McNeil – 7.5/10
He worked his socks off at both ends of the pitch and finished the game with an assist to his name.
CAM: Abdoulaye Doucoure – 7.5/10
Doucoure was a real menace on the attacking end of the pitch. He gave Everton the lead in the sixth minute.
ST: Beto – 7/10
He caused a few headaches for the Brentford defenders but failed to find the back of the net.
