Real Madrid, who are currently top of La Liga with 12 points from their first five matches, will be looking to make it six wins from six when they host Real Sociedad at the Bernabeu on Sunday night. They come into the match on the back of a 2-1 victory over Getafe in their last outing, so we can expect them to give a better performance this weekend.
Carlo Ancelotti will set his side up in a 4-3-1-2 formation and could make a couple of tweaks to his first XI for this game. Federico Valverde will play from the start of this game while Luka Modric drops to the bench.
4-3-1-2 Real Madrid Predicted XI Vs Real Sociedad
Defence
Kepa Arrizabalaga will get the nod to feature in goal for the Madrid giants as he looks to secure a clean sheet on the road. Antonio Rudiger will resume his defensive partnership with David Alaba at the heart of Real Madrid’s defence as they look to keep things solid at the back throughout the game.
Dani Carvajal will fill in as the right-back while Fran Garcia looks to impress on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to express themselves in the opponent’s half.
Nacho will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde will make up Real Madrid’s midfield as they look to dominate the ball and orchestrate some clear-cut chances for their players up top.
Jude Bellingham will once again play in the number ten position as he looks to cause a whole host of problems for the opposition defenders.
Luka Modric and Toni Kroos will be available for selection on the bench as they wait for their chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Joselu and Rodrygo will lead the charge for the Madrid giants in the final third. Both of them would be eager to make a difference for Los Blancos in the opposition half.
Vinicius Junior remains sidelined after picking up an injury problem so Ancelotti has limited options in the attacking department going into this contest.
