Liverpool will face off against Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday evening as they look to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Reds managed to earn a 3-1 win over Leicester City in the EFL Cup recently which will keep them in high spirits going into this game.
Jurgen Klopp will set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to name a strong first XI for this game. Darwin Nunez will lead the charge for the Merseyside club once again this weekend.
4-3-3 Liverpool Predicted Lineup To Face Tottenham Hotspur
Defence
Alisson Becker will function in between the sticks for the Reds after being rested in midweek. Virgil Van Dijk will try to impress alongside Ibrahima Konate at the centre of Klopp’s defence as they try to limit the chances that Tottenham create on the counter.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is a slight concern ahead of this game. Klopp might play it safe and opt for Joe Gomez once again to play at right-back. Andrew Robertson will return to take his place on the other flank as the left-back.
Jarell Quansah and Joel Matip will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
The Merseyside giants could line up with a midfield three of Curtis Jones, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai. All three of them need to move the ball well so that they can create enough chances for Liverpool to win this clash.
Harvey Elliott and Wataru Endo will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second half if needed.
Attack
Luis Diaz will try to catch the eye as the left winger while Mohamed Salah looks to weave his magic from the right.
Darwin Nunez will lead the line for the Reds in the final third. He would be eager to find the back of the net and make a difference for his team this weekend.
Diogo Jota and Cody Gakpo will be available for selection on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the latter stages if asked to do so.
