According to Daily Mail, Chelsea have spent the most in the summer transfer window and the West London club’s fortunes have taken a positive turn, as they’ve successfully addressed significant concerns by securing substantial reinforcements in a pivotal positions. The Blues have bolstered both their offensive and defensive capabilities, a move aimed by Mauricio Pochettino to enhance the clubs chances of clinching a spot in the Champions League by the end of this season.

Moises Caicedo (Brighton, £115m)

Chelsea officially announced the acquisition of Moises Caicedo recently, the defensive midfielder signed an eight-year contract, following the completion of a historic £115 million deal, setting a new British record. He is poised to add more bite and steel to Pochettino’s midfield department by competing for a regular place.
Romeo Lavia (Southampton, £58m)
Another recent addition to the club’s midfield department was Romeo Lavia, as the Blues beat Liverpool his signature.
The West London club, in their quest to reinforce their midfield this summer, successfully secured Lavia’s services for £58 million, shortly following the acquisition of Moises Caicedo. The Belgian international committed to a seven-year contract with the west London giants and he has showcased immense potential to bring more creativity to the central areas.
Christopher Nkunku (RB Leipzig, £53m)
Chelsea confirmed the capture of Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig as the first summer signing for Pochettino. The France international signed a six-year contract, after the two clubs pre-agreed a deal for Nkunku to make a summer move to Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window last year. However, he remains sidelined for the long term after sustaining a serious knee injury.
Robert Sanchez (Brighton, £25m)
Sanchez was bought from Brighton for £25m as the first choice goalkeeper for Pochettino. The 25-year-old will play an integral role in the back, as the Blues look to cement their place in the top four of the Premier League table.
