Manchester United entertained Crystal Palace at Old Trafford earlier tonight as they looked to earn a good result at home in the third round of the EFL Cup. The Red Devils made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 21st minute thanks to Alejandro Garnacho’s effort. Casemiro doubled his team’s advantage just three minutes later as the Mancunian giants went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.
Erik ten Hag’s men made a decent start to the second half and killed the game off in the 55th minute when Anthony Martial found the back of the net. The contest ended with Man United securing a comfortable 3-0 win at the Theatre of Dreams.
